About the Complex:

Area description
CHANIA | AGIA MARINA
Agia Marina is a seaside village located 10 km west of Chania,
between Stalos and Platanias, in a green valley surrounded by olive
groves and citrus trees. The village features tavernas, cafes, and
several shops and mini-markets where you can purchase everything
you need for a comfortable stay. The long, clean beach of Agia
Marina stretches 2.5 km and has been awarded the Blue Flag by the
EU. The beach is equipped with umbrellas and sun loungers,
changing cabins, and showers. While at the beach, be cautious, as
this sandy area attracts Caretta caretta turtles, which lay their eggs in
the sand throughout the summer season from May to September.
Agia Marina is conveniently located near the junction of the new
National Road, making it easy to travel around Crete. There is also
frequent bus service from the center of Chania to the village.
