Maintenance

Timber houses require very little maintenance. The endurance of this particular type of wood is well tested in time with virtually no wear or weathering. The original processing of the logs in their factory together with the treatments used i.e. organic varnishes, make the wood resistant to any sun damage, resistant to damp, canker and all such harmful timber micro-organisms. The organic varnishes used are absorbed by the timber. They are also available in a range of colours and shade to suit your taste.

The only requirements the owner must adhere to are:

  1. Check the roof for leaks.
  2. External walls should be coated with varnish every 5 years.
  3. Internal walls should be coated with varnish every 10 years.

This ensures the longevity of the timber home for life.
